Operations Features (Pillar 3: Connected Fleet & Crew)

Intent: The execution layer connecting the back office to the field. Relies on aggressive local caching for offline capability and real-time telemetry.

1. The Driver Hub (Mobile App)

  • Offline Manifest & 1-Click Boarding: Lightning-fast QR scanner (reads Wallet passes/PDFs) functioning fully offline.
  • Bordverkauf (POS): Tap-to-add interface for onboard food/beverage sales tied to specific seat numbers, automating cash box reconciliation and digital payment links.
  • Commercial Routing: Heavy-coach turn-by-turn navigation actively avoiding low bridges, weight limits, and optimizing the pickup sequence.
  • AI Receipt Capture: Native camera integration using OCR to extract fuel/toll receipt data and inject it directly into the back-office accounting workflow.

2. Fleet Sync & Passenger Tracking

  • Live Telematics & ETA: Background GPS pushes location, speed, and real-time ETAs to the dispatcher dashboard.
  • 1-Tap Incident Reporting: Dedicated flow for breakdowns/traffic (Stau), dropping a precise GPS pin and triggering a high-priority WebSocket alert to the back office, capturing the full lifecycle from OPEN to RESOLVED.
  • Consumer ETA Tracking: Passengers receive a secure web link to view a live map of their approaching coach, drastically reducing inbound support calls.
