Backoffice Application Scope

The backoffice application is the central tenant-facing workspace for the operator and their dispatching team. It serves as the core operational platform to manage the entire bus tour ecosystem, combining product catalog management, fleet operations, and commercial oversight.

(Note: A separate admin-console application handles global platform administration for the internal Busflow team, not this app).

Core Pillars

The Backoffice app focuses on equipping the operator's staff (Admins, Dispatchers) with three main capabilities:

1. Catalog & Operations

  • Product Management: Creating and managing TourTemplates, pricing matrices, and allotments.
  • Dispatching: Assigning crew and vehicles to concrete TourDepartures.
  • Fleet & Crew Tracker: Managing vehicle states, crew limits, and compliance.

2. Commerce & CRM

  • Booking Oversight: Managing inbound B2C/B2B bookings, processing refunds, and applying dynamic yield management.
  • Passenger CRM: Viewing passenger lists and communication logs.

3. Financial Ledger

  • Costing Engine: Calculating pre-trip margins (Vorabkalkulation).
  • Billing & Exports: Reconciling cash boxes, generating outbound PDF invoices for charters, and exporting to DATEV.

Next Steps

  • Detail out the application capabilities for each pillar.
  • Build the initial technical implementation setup in Nuxt/Vue.
